How to Shop Online
1) Begin by selecting one of our product categories: Handbags, Jewelry, Interior, or Seasonal.
2) From the category overview page, now select subcategories to view product lists.
3) From product lists, click on product photos to view product cards with details about each product.
4) From product cards, click on “Add to shopping bag” if you wish to purchase an item.
5) You may browse through various categories and subcategories and add as many products as you like to your shopping basket.
6) You may view your shopping bag any time you wish by clicking on the “View shopping bag” link at the top of any of our web pages.
7) From the “View shopping bag” page, you can delete items from your shopping bag, you can increase/decrease the quantity of some items in your shopping bag, you can return to the product pages to shop more, or you may proceed to checkout and complete your purchase.
Duty Free Shopping
If you are a resident outside of the Eurpoean Union, and your billing & shipping addresses are outside of the EU, then you may qualify to enjoy Duty Free shopping at JaneBurchard.com. Shopping Duty Free means your purchases will be reduced by 20% when completing your order at JaneBurchard.com. All prices listed on our website include Danish VAT unless you are logged into our website under a profile outside of the EU that qualifies for duty free shopping.
Shipping
We ship every Tuesday, unless there is a Holiday, for all orders made the previous week.
This is subject to stock availability, and full payment must be received and cleared. All shipping within Denmark is sent first class, insured, and trackable. This recorded delivery requires a signature at destination.
All shipping to other contries is sent priority airmail, insured, and trackable.
All of our jewellery is individually presented in gift bags and securely packaged.
We make every effort to deliver the orders as soon as possible. We attempt to dispatch all orders each Tuesday once full payment has been received and cleared. If the item is not in stock, we will e-mail you with the option to wait or cancel your order.
Once we dispatch your order, we will inform you with the identifier recorded delivery number that can be checked at www.postdanmark.dk in order to track your order through the Danish postal system.
Care of your jewelry
In order to keep your jewelry as nice as possible, it is important you treat them with care. The Jewelry is sensitive to chemicals and acid, therefore avoid contact with hairspray, perfume, and other acids. Take off your jewelry when you exercise, bathe, and sleep. Keep the jewelry out of direct sunlight for an extended period of time , since this could alter the color of some stones.
Silver will oxidize with time. This is a natural process that cannot be prevented. Gold plated silver may form a patina, and gold may wear off in parts with extended use. This is natural and should be expected.
Our jewelry is made with natural stones, pearls, and swarovski crystals, and could break if dropped on a hard surface.
Our jewelry can be carefully cleaned with luke warm water and a soft brush. For repair and restoration of Jane Burchard jewelry, please contact us via email.
Return Policy
If the product arrives damaged, damaged in transit, or if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Jane Burchard P/S, you can return the goods within 14 days of receipt of goods for either an exchange or refund.
Please note all refunds will be for the full price paid for the product, but not for the costs of shipping. A refund will be made to your credit card or debit card account.
Please follow the return procedure below:
1. All returns must have a valid Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). All return items must be received within 10 days of the RMA issue date.
2. E-mail us at to obtain a RMA#, shop@janeburchard.com. Please state the reason for return, order reference number, product code, your name, telephone number and address.
3. Returns will take approximately 10 business days to be processed after Jane Burchard P/S receives your item.
4. Items must be in original packaging, in all original boxes and packing materials. Original labels on cellofan bag must be unbroken and remain attached.
5. We strongly recommend that you fully insure your package that you are returning. We suggest the use of a carrier that can provide you a "proof of delivery". Jane Burchard P/S will not be liable for items lost or damaged in transit.
6. All shipping to Jane Burchard P/S is paid for by the customer. Please ensure that your RMA# is clearly marked on the outside of the package and not on the items original box.
Order Notes
1. Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Danish crowns, and are inclusive of sales tax (moms). For all shopping outside of the EU, where applicable, the sales tax (moms, 20% of the price) will be deducted at time of order processing.
2. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Order Reference number.3. The use of the web site and any purchase by you on this web site of any products are governed by Danish Law and indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Jane Burchard P/S reserves the right to amend and make changes to the contents to this web site and the terms and conditions at any time, and to add or withdraw items from our collection without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jane Burchard P/S disclaim all warranties of any kind with respect to the content of web site. These terms and conditions do not affect consumer statutory rights.
4. Jane Burchard P/S reserves the right to refuse services to any customer or to require verification of information prior to the acceptance of any order without any prior notification. In the event of the product price being incorrectly displayed on the web site, the normal price will be applicable instead. Jane Burchard P/S has the right to refuse to supply any incorrectly priced product, whether or not the order has been confirmed and credit or debit card charged. If payment has been made, we will credit back the amount of the incorrect price.
5. All sizes and measurements given on Jane Burchard P/S website are approximate and provided for your guidance only. We have made every effort to present product sizes, lengths, and photographs as accurately as possible. However, colors and images depend on your computer monitor and web browser. We cannot guarantee that products appear exactly the same as on your monitor. Description of products are those commonly used in the trade.
6. All display materials appearing in this website, such as busts and stands, are not included with items sold. The color and designs of the gift bags may vary, subject to availability and depending on the shape and size of jewellery.
7. The acceptance of contract is formed by the state of confirmation, by authorisation of transaction and payment confirmed by receipt. If your order is accepted, we shall inform you by e-mail or telephone. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price by Jane Burchard P/S. Dispatch time may vary. We do not take responsibility for any delay in delivery due to postal delays.
8. This website is operated and owned by Jane Burchard P/S. Permission is granted to electronically copy and to print in hard copy order confirmation pages of this web site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Jane Burchard P/S.
